Weekend Farm & Attraction Worker

Location: Rare Breeds Centre, Woodchurch, Kent

Contract: Flexible / Casual, predominantly weekends

Do you enjoy working with animals, love the outdoors, and want a role with plenty of variety? The Rare Breeds Centre is looking for Weekend Farm & Attraction Workers to join our team on a flexible basis.

In this role, you’ll:

• Care for our livestock – feeding, bedding and keeping enclosures clean and safe.
• Support visitor activities like “Meet the Animals,” pig racing and trailer rides.
• Help with seasonal events and day-to-day site maintenance.
• Work alongside supported people, volunteers, and students, ensuring safe and positive participation.

What we’re looking for:

• Hands-on farm knowledge and experience handling livestock.
• Comfortable with practical farm tasks and working outdoors in all weathers.
• Friendly, approachable, and confident, engaging with visitors of all ages.
• Flexible and reliable for weekend working (driving licence desirable).

This is a flexible, casual role – hours will vary depending on rota and events, but will predominantly be at weekends.
