Interim Service Improvement Manager (Services Mentor) – 3-Month Fixed-Term Contract
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Interim Service Improvement Manager to lead a 3-month transformation project within our supported living services. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by improving systems, mentoring staff, and enhancing the quality of life for our tenants.This position is working full time on a 3-month Fixed-Term Contract.
- Lead the review and improvement of internal systems and service delivery processes
- Provide hands-on mentoring and support to the Deputy Manager and wider staff team
- Support and advocate for tenants, ensuring their voices are heard and their needs are met
- Address and manage HR and staffing issues with professionalism and empathy
- Rapidly learn and utilise internal systems to ensure continuity and efficiency
- Work collaboratively with senior leadership to implement sustainable improvements
- Has a proven track record of turning around underperforming services in the care or charity sector
- Brings strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and develop teams
- Is confident managing HR and staffing challenges with fairness and clarity
- Is adaptable, patient, and quick to learn new systems and processes
- Holds a Level 5 qualification (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care, Leadership, or a related field
- Is committed to person-centred care and upholding the values of dignity, respect, and inclusion
