Support Worker

Canterbury Oast Trust supports adults with learning disabilities and autism across Kent, helping people live with choice, control and meaningful participation in their community. We are looking for caring, reliable people to join our residential support teams.

About the role

As a Support Worker you will provide person centred care, encourage community access and support the people we care for to live full and independent lives. Day to day duties include personal care, supporting daily routines, planning activities and working closely with a small team to make sure the people we support are safe, happy and thriving.

Pay and hours

Pay and contracted hours depend on the contract type. These currently range from £12.89 per hour for part time and casual roles to £25,135.50 per year for full-time posts. We will confirm the exact pay, hours and site with you once we have matched you to a role.

What we are looking for

No formal qualifications are needed, just patience, a caring nature and a genuine wish to make a difference. Experience in care is welcome but not essential, as full training is provided.
