COT is a truly unique charity. Everything we do across our farm, life skills programmes and accommodation services, is focussed on creating supportive, personalised environments where people with learning disabilities and autism can thrive. None of it would be possible without our amazing staff teams, who are passionate about delivering high-quality care and support. And we’re proud to say they’re driven by a shared ambition to be part of a ‘best in class’ organisation.
As a trustee, you’ll be joining a welcoming, enthusiastic board made up of people from a wide range of backgrounds. Together, we provide the strategic leadership and governance that helps guide and support our brilliant executive team. Our role is to ensure COT’s goals are carefully thought through, well-supported, and successfully delivered.
Like any good board, we regularly refresh our membership. This helps us stay forward-thinking, dynamic, and equipped with the right mix of skills and perspectives to meet the challenges and opportunities ahead. As part of this, we’re clear about the experience and knowledge we’re looking for in new trustees to keep our board balanced, effective, and fit for the future.
If you’re keen to use your experience to help shape the future of a charity that really does change lives – and to be part of a committed, friendly team – we’d be delighted to hear from you.
