School costs and booking

Scroll down for everything you need to know about costs and bookings for school groups. Home educators also qualify for the school rate when coming as a group of registered home educators. This group must consist of 10 or more paying visitors. Proof of the education status of the children may be required at the time of booking the visit.

What’s included + optional extras

A trailer ride is included in the price of your booking
Educational activities – If you wish to book an educational activity an additional charge of £1 per child will apply.
Packed lunches – must be prebooked. Please email us for allergy information.

Goody bags – priced from £2 upwards – can be pre-booked to collect from the shop at the end of your visit.
Ice creams / Ice lollies – these can be prebooked – prices depend on availability, ranging from £1.50- £3 each
No deposit is necessary.
Payment can be made on the day of your visit, or you can be invoiced after your visit.

Educational activities

Trailer rides for school groups

Rides must be pre-booked, and availability is limited.
Each trailer ride has a maximum capacity of 30 adults/children per trip.
One wheelchair can be taken on each trailer ride.
Children must be supervised at all times.
When you book a trailer ride you will be given a time for your ride(s).
The trailer ride leaves from the main paddock and the ride lasts approximately 20 minutes.

School visits must be booked in advance. We limit the number of school visits per day. Please call to enquire about availability and to make a provisional booking.

Familiarisation Visits

We allow two free adult visits per booking to enable you to conduct a self-guided familiarisation visit.
