Enjoy hot and sunny days on the farm
Even on the hottest days there are things to enjoy on the farm and places you can go to cool down. Hands down, the coolest place is our deliciously ice-cool air conditioned Granary Restaurant. Here you can pick up ice cold drinks, ice lollies, ice creams, cold snacks and iced coffees.
Our ice cream kiosk at Sammy’s Playpen is available during prime season (including every day during the summer holidays) for yummy Kelly’s ice cream.
Shady spots include our mysterious marsh adventure trail, woodland walks and shaded areas in the Discovery Garden.
Tractor Trailer rides are perfect for hot days!
Our accessible tractor trailer rides are perfect for hot summer days! The sides are open to allow breezes in and the top is covered to protect you from the hot summer sun! Plus there’s space for one wheelchair per trip so everyone can join in the fun!
