Polish chicken
Polish chickens are easy to spot because of the fabulous fluffy feathers on top of their heads, which can look like a funny little hat.
These pretty birds have been known in Europe for hundreds of years, although no one is completely sure where they first came from. Polish chickens are usually gentle, friendly and a little bit quirky.
Their big feather crests can make it harder for them to see, so they may jump if something surprises them. They are curious, characterful birds, and each one seems to have its own cheeky farmyard personality.
