Festive school sessions
Bring your pupils along for a magical Christmas experience at the Rare Breeds Centre on the 25th, 26th November, 2nd or 3rd December. Our specially designed Christmas event sessions for schools offer all the Christmas fun at a reduced rate, making it the perfect Christmas term treat!
SEN Christmas show sessions available too
We are also offering SEN-friendly Christmas show sessions, designed to provide a more relaxed experience. These sessions have a quieter atmosphere, making them ideal for those who may benefit from a calmer environment. For pupils who may find the winter wonderland walkthrough overwhelming, calmer alternative routes to the show seating area are available.
Rare Breeds Christmas: full of festive cheer
As Christmas approaches, Santa’s elves arrive to spread festive cheer across the farm. Sparkling lights, cosy decorations and seasonal surprises transform the farm into a joyful winter wonderland that children will love exploring.
Pupils will journey through our winter wonderland walkway, before heading to the fabric snowball throwing area where they can practise their aim and enjoy some festive fun. The experience continues with a heart warming festive show, starring a cheerful team of elves, guaranteed to bring smiles and laughter to all.
During the show, every child will take part in a festive craft activity, creating a special Christmas keepsake to take home, along with a festive goody bag to remember their magical day.
The Children’s Barn will also be beautifully decorated with glowing lights and a stunning Christmas tree, perfect for creating those memorable Christmas moments.

- Maximum number of children per session: 30
- Pricing: Child (ages 2-15): £20.00 each | Adult (ages 16 and up): £11.00 each
- Sessions times: Morning 10:30 am and 11:30 am | Afternoon 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm
